History

Mexican Softball Federation is the governing body of softball in Mexico. We develop, manage and promote this sport to provide opportunities for participation and the best possible experience for all. It was officially established with its constitutive act since 1985, however it already existed since before 1960, having results in the sixties with a world runner-up and a third place in the men's branch and being until 2015 that a fifth place for women was achieved in the sub 19 and the following year fifth place in the world in the free women's branch, Likewise in 2018 the first Central American and Caribbean medal was won in the silver women's branch in Barranquilla, Colombia and in 2019 the first Pan-American medal in the men's branch.
