(Press Release; WBSC-AMERICAS).- Venezuela secured their place in the Super Round by beating Puerto Rico, while Canada and Nicaragua were finally able to score their first World Cup Qualifier win.

Venezuela and Puerto Rico faced each other in an exciting duel in which the South Americans defeated the Puerto Ricans 4-2 and thus secured their place in the Super Round of the tournament.
