San Francisco. The Dominican Republic will play the final of the third World Baseball Classic. The Caribbean powerhouse defeated (4-1) The Kingdom of The Netherlands in a game dominated by Dominican pitchers.

Jovial and talented Artemisa right-handed pitcher Yadier Pedroso was killed when the car in which he was riding with two friends collided with a cargo truck at approximately 10:30 pm.

Then Aybar stole second and scored on a base hit by Alejandro De Aza. The Dominican Republic beat (3-1) Team USA and earned a spot in the semi-finals of the 2013 World Baseball Classic.

They are joining the Netherlands and Japan in San Francisco with the fourth berth being determined between Puerto Rico and Team USA on Friday evening.
